NORDIAG CE IVD LABELS ITS BULLET BUGS'n BEADS(TM) KIT
NorDiag CE IVD labels its BULLET BUGS'n BEADS(TM) KIT. - CE IVD labeling is a growth driver and increases the revenue per instrument placed and opens up for new instrument placements, explains Mårten Wigstøl, CEO in NorDiag.
The CE IVD labeling comes after successfully completing clinical trials comparing the BULLET BUGS'n BEADS(TM) sample preparation reagents with the Roche COBAS® TaqMan® 48 Analyzer and COBAS® TaqMan® CT Test, v2.0 at synlab Weiden, Germany, using Chlamydia trachomatis as a model organism for the system.
The BULLET BUGS'n BEADS(TM) kit is a multi kit that can be applied for sample preparation of Sexually transmitted infections, Noro virus, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA),Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE) and other bacteria. The advantage for the customers is that they can use the same kit for several applications. This simplifies the laboratory processes and increase ease of use. Multiple uses of applications on the same instrument platform is a growth driver, since it increases NorDiags reagent revenue per instrument as well as opens up for new instrument placements.
NorDiags high throughput instrument Bullet has the capacity of up to 100 000 isolations per year.
